Re: Cute ways to ask bridesmaids
My MOH was the one that was cute more then a card with a nice saying asking them to take part in the day.For my MOH I made the inside of the card pictures of me and her through the years and then in a meaningful and somewhat emotional way asked her if she would continue to stand by my side as I start another chapter in my life...
FGs I had shirts made for them that said 'I'm in charge of the petals' they loved them! (but then again they were older... 6 & 7 )

Re: Cute ways to ask bridesmaids
Congrats on your engaement and Welcome!I wish I was saw all the wonderful ideas before I asked my girls. I asked them all in a casual way because I thought that was the only thing I could do lol. I like the package idea with the cars and stuff! Very Cleaver. I would do something like that if I were you!
Congrats again and happy planning!!

Re: Cute ways to ask bridesmaids
For one bridesmaid, I had inserted scrapbook paper and printed her name and the poem below into a BRIDES magazine. Then, I asked her if she wanted to looked through the magazine for wedding gowns with me. When she turned to the page, her mouth dropped. She started crying. :)Nothing would gives us
more joy and more pride
Than to have you there
Walking by our side
Will you be in our wedding party?
At my engagement party, I asked my FSIL (who was getting married a few weeks later). My brother (her DH) is going to be in the party as well. So, we framed a similar poem to the above one and told them that we had a present for them b/c we figured they were under a lot of stress with the wedding lately. It was a poem in a picture frame. They were very surprised and touched. :)
Then, I asked my FH's sister. She was 8 months pregnant at the time, so I got her a cheap photo album (8 pages for photos- 1.50 in Michaels). I wrote a poem specifically for her and put a line on each page. She was so touched and couldn't believe how sneaky I was about how I asked her, hehe. :)
In just a few short months your new baby boy will change your whole life.
And in one quick year, your brother will say 'I do!' to his brand new wife.
Your new baby boy will require much love and good care…
Most times, you will realize you don’t have a moment to spare!
But even though this new baby will leave you with no time for play…
We really do hope that you can stand by us on our wedding day.
Gabriella, will you be in our wedding party?
Lastly, I asked my two cousins (sisters) together. I did the same thing as I did for the first bridesmad, but asked them if they wanted to see a picture of my dress. So they were all excited! I turned to the page before and said, 'What do you think of this dress?' So they were like, 'Oh, it's so pretty!' Then, I turned to the next page (One poem on each side) and said...'Or how about this one?' They started yelling, 'Of course, of course!!!'
Definitely personalize it. These women are going to be in your wedding party, so they are obviously the most important women in your life. Show them just how special they are to you.

I got those same cookies made from weddingstand.com and then I got Vera Bradley bags from verabradley.com that fit them perfectly (style= sherry, and some colors are onsale now for $15 here!). Wrapped up each cookie, put it inside, and then went out w/each girl and gave her the bag. It worked out great!here!
