Did it take you awhile to get used to sleeping in the same bed as F/D H/W?

I LOVE to snuggle up with FH. It seems like if we nap during the day we sleep better than ever. At night we never sleep well. We both wake up a million times, maybe in response to the other one movigin or stealing the covers or something, or just to snuggle closer, I don't know. but we hardly ever sleep through the night without waking up a bunch of times. Does anyone else go through this? I am thinking we are going to have to get a BIG bed when we get married.

He has no problem with it, but I always have! I'm a really light sleeper, so everything wakes me up. He, on the other hand, could sleep through an earthquake!

No, it didn't take any time to get used to it. In fact, I only started sleeping well again when we moved in together. My neighbor's house exploded in the middle of the night a few months before we moved in together, and I could not sleep to save my life. But as soon as we moved in together, I felt safe again. I hate when he works overnights now becuase I just don't sleep well

Same here!!! Plus, he yells, talks, fights.... basically has conversations with people & wakes me up nightly with that.... so after 2 years, I am still NOT used to sleeping with him!!

Re: Did it take you awhile to get used to sleeping in the same bed as F/D H/W?

Definitely.

She tends to kick or rock eiither one or both of her legs before sleeping.

I find it cute now but at first I was like, 'What's up with this girl?'

'Course she would say I snore.

And I would say -- she wakes me up when she goes to the bathroom about 4 times during the middle of the night.

And she would say -- I steal the covers.

And I would say, she gets an extra pillow.

But we would both agree heartily -- that each other farts loudly.

I love her with all my heart... but we're gonna get a big bed when we get married.

Ditto, but we use seperate blankets as well... (for now... until we get a bigger bed...) I like to wrap myself up in the blanket and tend to pull it off him when we use the top comforter)
