do u have to have bubbles, petals, or rice thrown at u after the ceremony?

Our church doesn't allow petals, rice or confetti. And i hear bubbles stain clothing and leave peoples hands slimy. does anyone have any other alternatives?

i wouldnt think so and they probably wouldnt even miss it .. but i dont know what else is there to throw .. fmil and bad bm or annoying fg...

we are doing bubble just because its basically our only option considering the church wont allow basically anything.

agreed! my Church didnt allow us to throw rose petals either but i did anyway!

we are going to give guests bubbles and the bridal party are realsing butterfiles ...

we had a confetti launch with the 'flickers'.... made for awesome pics!!

If you do a search of the posts of ribbon wands this looks like a fun alternative. I tried to do a search because I recently saw a post of pics with ribbon wands and it looked really nice but I couldn't find it. It could be a great alternative for you!

I wanted to do a balloon release, but my church won't let us. I dont know what to do now either.

I love the way the petals photography and I've even seen it where the petals are in color and the rest of the picture is in black and white... I so want that if my hall will allow it... thank you for posting this... now I have another question to ask my hall...

I had rose petals....I saw at a wedding they had fake rose petals and the church allowed that. Maybe you can see if there is a difference and your church will allow you to do that? I was shocked our pastor let us throw them but he said, you pay a clean up fee, so you can do what you want. Too bad they can't all be like that.

We used petals. I really like how ribbon wands look too!

I have to do bubbles...churches like to be difficult sometimes!

I'm pretty sure there are bubbles you can get that won't stain clothes. Thats what we're doing anyway.
