I have to report to work with the State. They only give us Tues. off and my supervisor won't let me take Mon. off.

that stinks! I thought working with the gov't it's an automatic day off anytime it's some sort of holiday. my friend works for the city public sector and she gets 20 holidays off on top of her PTO vacation days! while i got a ****** 6! :P

We only have Tuesday off, but I'm taking a vacation day on Monday. It's such a waste, I doubt many people will be in here on Monday.

Next year, 4th of July is a Wed and I know already, I'm taking Thursday and Friday off!

My company is not even giving us off on Tuesday. Anyone who would like to use their PTO can take the day as a vaca day.

Doesn't that sux rocks? My company said the same thing to us! The whole building is closed and they expect us to come in anyway! Urgh! What a way to build morale!

Guess what site I'm gonna be spending alot of time on come Monday... :P

Hell yes!!! IM on vacation!!!! Of course my time will be consumed with planning the wedding but at least Im not in a classroom!!

I love my job, so I don't mind. My fiance is working that day too, so it'll be better than sitting around the house.

My FH and I both have to work. He is taking the day off and I am going to try to slack a bit since my boss is on vacation! I have to do two interviews in the afternoon and that is al I am planning on doing!

My company closed, but we have to make up the time. I am happy to have the day off, but I wish we didn't have to make it up.
