Does anyone have a nice 'Thank You' statement for a church program? Edited: How does mine sound?
The ones I have do not suit me or are too short.ETA: Is it rude to make a special thank you my Mom and sister for all of their help planning??????
I do not want to offend FI's parents or my friends, but my Mom and sister were great through out this whole thing. No one else!
Thanks
This is what I have so far. I know it needs teaking. What do you think??
Thank You
We would like to thank our parents, family and friends for all of their love and support that they have given us over the years. Each and everyone one of you has helped us, guided us, laughed with us, cried with us and celebrated with us. Without all of you, we wouldn’t be who we are today.
We would also like to thank the entire wedding party for all that they have done. We are so grateful you could stand with us today to celebrate our love and marriage.
We would like to especially give gratitude to Bonnie (the bride’s Mother) and Danielle (the bride’s sister) for all of their patience and tireless efforts. We will never forget the countless hours and resources that you both dedicated to help make this day special for us. We love you very much!
Lastly, we would like to thank you all for sharing your presence and blessings with us. We are honored that you are here to help us celebrate this very sacred and important day in ours lives. May God bless each and every one of you.

Re: Does anyone have a nice 'Thank You' statement for a church program?
I used some inspiration from a few old programs that I had saved... This is what ours said:In Gratitude
To Our Parents…
A very special thank you is extended to our parents. Words cannot describe our gratitude for your unconditional love, guidance and compassion. Who we have become, what we believe, and our ability to look towards a wonderful future together has all come from you. As we begin our lives together as husband and wife, we look forward to the day when we will have children to call us Mom and Dad, so that we may have the chance to work the magic in their lives as you have done in ours. Through example, you have shown us both how to give and how to receive love. You have given us all you could, and then amazingly, more. Furthermore, we thank you for helping us create this beautiful celebration today.
To Our Family and Friends...
We would also like to thank our family and friends for traveling from near and far to share this special day with us. Many years from now, when we look back on this day, we will know that it wasn’t flowers, music, or food that made this day so special. It will be our memories of sharing this day with you, our family and friends that will stand out in our minds. Life holds so many momentous occasions. We thank you for sharing in one of our happiest.
In Remembrance
We also remember those who could not be here with us today, but are with us in memory and spirit. Throughout the years, their comfort, support, and wisdom helped shape our lives. They will forever live on in our hearts.
Love always,
Angela & Brian
It took me some time to put together but I was very happy with the way it came out. I got a bunch of compliments on the programs....
I dont think it's rude at all for you to thank your mom and sister for all their help but it might be better to thank them in some way separately, and thank everyone in the program... but remember, it's your day so do whatever makes YOU happy!!
