Dress questions for those who are not doing strapless-
I may be in the minority, but I am not looking at strapless dresses. I wore a strapless BM for my friends wedding and I as so uncomfortable. I couldn't put myself through that on my wedding day. I am looking for tank dresses and found to that I am very happy with, but I feel that I still need to look around to make sure I have seen enough to satisfy myself. My question is- are those of you that are not looking at strapless finding much. When I walk into stores and tell them what I am looking for, they look at me like I have two heads. I am sure I am going to go with one of the dresses I already saw, but I didn't think it would be so slim.

Re: Dress questions for those who are not doing strapless-
hi,my dress is not strapless. i tried on a couple and looked ridiculous and i have a large chest so i was terribly uncomfortable
when i went shopping for a gown, i immediately told them i wanted something with straps and almost everything they had me try on had some sort of strap option. my dress is by maggie sottero--have you looked at her line? she has quite a few dresses with sleeve options.

I would love to try Jasmine, but I can't find her in any stores. I only see stores in Jersey that carry her.

Re: Dress questions for those who are not doing strapless-
Most of the dresses i tried were strapless...but with the option of adding strapes which i did to my dress...make sure to ask that question if strapes can be added!

Re: Dress questions for those who are not doing strapless-
I know the feeling sister ... i have a very big chest and there was no way i was wearing strapless and i dont like halter either. I want tank style and yes - the selection was limited. I went to Davids Bridals and they had 1
dress - and techinally it was off the shoulder but it could be altered to tank style.I wind up at Macys with at least 6/7 dresses. I chose the one i loved - see the pic in my album - its a Demetrios
Good luck!

Re: Dress questions for those who are not doing strapless-
My dress isn't strapless and for the same reason. I had similar problems. I went to one place that actually said to me 'at least 90% of our dresses are strapless' What I did from most places is that cap sleeves or spaghetti straps can be added to most strapless gowns.

Re: Dress questions for those who are not doing strapless-
My dress has little off the shoulder cap sleeves (it reminds of me a princess! hehe) .. they are def. in the minority when it comes to dresses, but thats half the reason I like it. You can also have straps added to a lot of dresses.Welcome New Vendors
