Re: Engagement Party Favors..... what do you think of
I think its fine...its exactly what I did for my e-party. It was in my parents house during the afternoon...everyone loved them. My advice...but several molds...I only bought 3 and had to make about 75 pops (one pp) and it took forever. Good luck.

Re: Engagement Party Favors..... what do you think of
I think it's a good idea. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on an e-party favor. Besides....who doesn't like chocolate

I think it's cute! Your party, you give what you want. If someone doesn't like it, tough. We only did the specially wrapped Hershey's bars at our e-party. The wrapper looked like a newspaper with a headline on one side, and a little article I gave them on the other talking about how we had finally gotten engaged. Everyone loved them, and they cost almost nothing.

Just a suggestion for all e-party girls, never underestimate what you can find on the dollar store! I bought cute glass vases and wrapped them in colorful cellophane.

We had our E pic taken and got wallet size picsmade up. Then I found these great bridal mini frames for $1 a piece. Then wrapped them all up in pretty baggies with ribbon. Each couple got one. They were a big hit. Just a suggestion. Those frames can be purchased from Crazy Al's in Commack.

Re: Engagement Party Favors..... what do you think of
I'd like to add my two cents if you don't mind. My advice is to get good chocolate or don't waste your time and money. We went to a Sweet 16 recently and they had red chocolate roses. Everyone was anxious to eat them in the car on the way home and one by one we were throwing them out. Not one out of six of us wanted to finish it. Great idea if the chocolate is good though.
