Final Decision Help: Fox Hollow, North Ritz or Jericho T?

I need to make my final decision by this weekend. I've been searching it seems like forever and I just want to book and stop worrying so much. My three choices are Fox Hollow, North Ritz Club and Jericho Terrace. All are similar in price. There are pro's and con's for each place. My main concern with North Ritz is that I haven't been able to find many reviews are opinions on that place. It is nice that it has one affair at a time though. Fox Hollow and Jericho Terrace have history...... so I just don't know how to decide. I'm hoping some of you will have some opinions, good stories and bad, that will help me decide. Please help. :)

Jericho Terrace is my vote!

My sister got married there and the place is beautiful and the food and service were excellent!! Plus you can get some amazing shots inside & outside. Write a list of pros & cons for each place and pick the one w/the most pros! Good luck!

I love both Fox Hollow and Jericho Terrace

My brother got married at Fox Hollow on May 1 a few years ago and everything went beautifully. We were all very happy with the staff and the food was fantastic. Also their pictures are gorgeous because of all the pretty flowers and 'scenery' Fox Hollow provides. My friend got married at Jericho Terrace in November and that was wonderful as well. The food was delicious and I thought the place was beautiful. The time of year/time of day would help me determine which I'd pick out of the two. For example a spring day wedding I would pick Fox Hollow because of the beautiful grounds/surroundings and I'd probably go with Jericho Terrace for a winter night wedding because it is so pretty inside. Good luck!

I vote for Jericho Terrace also

I am having my reception at Crest Hollow Country Club, but Jericho Terrace was my second choice- I thought it was beautiful and I have heard good things about the food. It looks lovely for photos too. I looked at Fox Hollow, but it was not my style. However, the Scotto Brothers who run it have an excellent reputation and if you choose it, you could not go wrong. Good Luck - let us know which you choose!

Final Decision Help: Fox Hollow, North Ritz or Jericho T?

We choose Fox Hollow and I could not be happier that I did. We had looked at Jericho Terrace as well but FOx HOllow seemed to suit our personalities more (dark wood, low lights... very warm feeling). I have always heard really good things about all the affairs that the Scotto Brothers give. So far our experience with them has been very enjoyable. I love our banquet manager (John Sireci) as he is so experienced and a real 'no nonsense' type of guy yet very friendly. They are both wonderful though (I have never been to the North one). Go with the one that you feel the most comfortable in... the one that really s you and your FH's taste,

i am getting married at the north ritz club

Angie, that is what scares me about North Ritz. They just don't have the history that the other places have, but I do agree, it is beautiful and great that you will be the only bride there. I didn't meet with Dennis but have heard great things about him. He isn't the owner, is he? Did he throw in any extra's for you? When are you getting married and is it a Fri or Sat? Did you get to taste the food? Please email me with all the details if you don't mind. I would love to hear what else you have to say. Thanks so much. [email protected]

rooms in FH and JT?

For those of you that like Fox Hollow best, what do you think of the Briar Fox room as the main reception room for about 175 people. And for those who like Jericho terrace, I would have the smaller of the two (I didn't even get to see it yet because a wedding was going on while I was there). Are these rooms ok?

Final Decision Help: Fox Hollow, North Ritz or Jericho T?

I looked at Jericho Terrace. The man was rude to me and my fiance. I heard that the food isn't good there. My cousin found a piece of glass in the food. I think the rooms are very pretty. Maybe they just had an off night. The Fox Hollow is pretty and has better grounds for pictures. You also have the option of an outdoor cocktail hour. What room would you be in?

rooms in FH and JT?

Briar Fox is a small room. The dance floor is small. My friend got married there on Sunday. She had 160 i think. It is also a dark room because of the wood. It is a very pretty room though. You can see the peole in the other room dancing on the reflection of the windows. Also in the hallway people from both parties are walking around because you all share a bathroom.

Final Decision Help: Good question for the vendor board

Bands, DJ's, Photographers and Videographers have been every place. They see how organized a place is and they eat the food. You might want to get their take on your choices.

rooms in FH and JT?

We have the Briar Fox for the cocktail hour and the Garden Terrace for the reception. I think we only had to guarantee about 170 people for teh Garden Terrace in case you are interested in that room which i awesome for accoustics and so pretty!!! The Briar Fox is a really pretty room also. Go to www.scottobrothers.com go to the fox hollow and follow the virtual tour.

mishy626 my deal @ north ritz club

Thanks for giving me the details, I appreciate it. I have priced Friday evening prices in April, and got the woman I spoke to, to come down 5 dollars a person to match the Fox Hollow pricing. I would LOVE to have the full viennese table included also, I wonder if I tell them I will sign if they throw it in, if they would. I doubt it since the woman I spoke with has already been 'so amazed' that her boss even came down 5 dollars. Have you spoken with anyone that has had an affair there since the renovations? Well, congrats and thanks for all your help.

north ritz club -mishyy626 and angie

I am soooo glad to find more brides getting married or considering North Ritz. I thought I was the only one! They treated me so good from the beginning and the price was unbelievable for what I am getting. They thru in the viennese for me without me asking. I went to a food tasting and it was awesome. Dennis isn't the owner...I think one of the owner's is named George...I meet him once or twice. If you want I can email you with my price and info. Let me know. Angie, when are you getting married? Mishy626, I haven't been there in a couple months, what are the grounds like? have they done any work lately?

rooms in FH and JT?

I am getting married in the garden terrace at FH I feel in love w/ that place when I was a bridesmaid a few yrs back for my friend Jeanine, and I was like I have to get married here, the food is excellent the grounds are beautiful and the staff courteous, most people I know have their cocktail hr in the briar fox and the reception in the garden terrace but briar fox is good if not too many people as a reception room

north ritz club -mishyy626 and angie

Hi Bridetobe I had never been to North Ritz before, so it's hard for me to compare what the grounds looked like a few months ago. Also, I didn't walk around the grounds, was just in the building. I have read that they are fixing the thing in the middle of the lake, I can tell you that wasn't running while I was there. Would you mind email me the details of your deal at North Ritz? I would appreciate it. [email protected] Thanks. :)

mishy626 ~ viennesse table

If you like the place and you tell them that you will sign if they could throw the viennese why not? it is worth a try...i mean not for nothing it is not like you are asking for a million dollars or something...give it a shot nothing to loose...but if you got the same price for both wouldn't you want the exclusive that is what really sold me....talk to you soon :))
