For how many nights did you block hotel room?

I am having a Sat. night wedding and have blocked rooms for Fri. and Sat. night. My mother thinks I should have also blocked Thurs. and Sun. nights. We expect that we will have a fair number of out of town guests but I don't know if they plan to stay on LI (or go to the city) or stay with family. What did everyone else do?

My wedding is on a Sat. night and everyone who is staying in the hotel will probably just book it for Friday and Sat. night. I think some out of towners will be staying with family after that or doing their own thing since it's a holiday weekend.

Our RD will be Thurs night, then the wedding is Sat AM, so I booked a few rooms for Thurs (the whole BP lives out of state), and then a lot for Fri and Sat. Out of a guest list of 200, only 20 live on LI, so I needed a ton!

My wedding is Sunday, RD is Friday, so I booked for FRI-Monday night

My wedding is on Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. We booked our hotel from Friday the 23rd through Monday the 26th. Since it is a holiday weekend I want people to be able to make a little vacationout of it.

We booked the Long Island Marriot.
