Got my unity candle today - Party City Sale $2!!!! (pic)

So this was totally unbelievable... I went to Wrap with Us today to try to find a few things, especially a unity candle. But I just wasn't feeling it there... the warehouse is kinda. Well, it's a warehouse.

So I left there and drove to Party City on Jericho Tpke and was walking down their very small bridal aisle and found this:



I thought it was GORGEOUS!! It's my colors and isn't too gaudy! I was really happy about it!

Then I went to take it to the register and it was on clearance for $2!!!!!!! TWO DOLLARS! I bought two of them!! lol The stand was also $2 (just a simple white stand).

I also got this candle for $2 on sale.



FH is going to be THRILLED. He loves when I find amazing bargains for wedding stuff.

Of course... I then went to Sandy's Shoes and got shoes that were not on sale... but that's for another thread.

It was the Party City in Woodbury. They had one more stand out there -- I think it was a silver one -- for $2 and a few other things.

My mom and I just went to the one in Levittown and they didn't have anything good on clearance there.

Lol very good question!

There's a mantle above the fireplace behind the sweetheart table at the Milleridge Cottage where we're getting married and I was thinking that after the ceremony (which is also there) it might be nice to put the unity candle up on the mantle behind us to burn during the reception itself.

But then I also wanted to keep the stand and figured I could use the second to display in the house since the first will be burned down!

Also, my step-sister is a 2011 bride (who isn't on this site, I don't think -- she and her FH may be getting married in Chicago where they live, even though she's from LI) and I thought maybe she'd want it. Oh, and it was $2 lol.
