Re: Halloween Theme Shower

1. jackolanterns as centerpieces.
2. orange and black napkins/balloons/bows
3. small bags/bowls of candy corn
4. on the tag/card of everyone's gift, ask them to write the name of their favorite halloween costume

i'll keep thinking of more... what fun!

Re: Halloween Theme Shower

Some Ideas:

Blow up pictures of the bride and groom in their halloween costumes when they were little (at about the same age) (we are doing those for our placecards--for our Hallween wedding)

Why not have the guests dress in costumes??

I love the idea of jack o lantern centerpieces, or carve our pumpkins and stick Mums in them...

Could do SOMETHING with Pumpkin seeds....not quite sure what, but SOmething....

Can use those plastic pumpkin buckets to put stuff in....whether it is candy, or the favors....

Put in the invite for each guest to decorate a pumpkin, whether it is cut out or decorated another way, and then at the shower, have people guess who did what for prizes...

Re: Halloween Theme Shower

use candy corn wrapped in tulle as part of the favor... or the mini 2' or 3' pumpkins for favors.. each persons name can be painted on it( also serves well as a wedding place card holder)..

i personally like sticking flowers in a pumpkin..

Re: Halloween Theme Shower

Mini pumpkins for placecards, some type of 'witches brew' as punch, It could also be a 'witches tea' with everyone wearing witches hats, pumpkin ravioli as an entree, or maybe some butternut squash soup. I think the mask decorating idea is great!! I know people don't like her (sniff!) but Martha Stewart actually has a Halloween book out where you can get some AWESOME ideas for decor and menu planning too! Hope this helped! Good luck to Mom w/ the planning!
