Happy Holidays Everyone
Here's to wishing everyone a great holiday! Hopefully this weather will give in a little. I picked up my new car today! Nothing like leaving the dealer in a major down pour. I just bought the new Mid-size Saturn. So Far... I'm in love with it. Everyone have a wonderful weekend.
The cruise your taking sounds like the one I was suppose to take last year on the Carnival. I went to PR last Thanksgiving w/ my fiance and we loved it. My suggestions are if you and your fiance do not speak spanish (which I don't and my fiance does)stay in Old San Juan & El Condado which are tourist attractions. If you like driving and exploring I suggest the Bacardi Factory in Cantano or the rainforest in El Yunque or the lovely beach in Luquillo, the caves (which is quite a drive from San Juan but a nice one) in Arecibo. Please take a MAP and you'll have no problem getting around. Try and stay in PR a few more days when u get back from ur cruise it's worth it!!. Antiqua is a beautiful Island w/ lovely beaches. The city is also beautiful for sightseeing and shopping. Enjoy and be very Careful w/ visiting each port!! I hope this was helpful..

Kate, Congrats on your new Saturn. I bought one 3 yrs ago and absolutely love it. I bought mine from the Massapequa dealership. The service is great. HAve a great holiday
I have heard that you can negotiate the price per head at the reception hall about 15%. Is this true and has anybody done it? Thanks for the info!
I haven't been to the other islands - -but I would suggest that you also call the Chamber of Commerce for each island, they will send you brochures and inform you if there are any events or festivals going on during your stay.
Happy Holidays Everyone
Thanks Carolyn: I picked my car up on Friday. I LOOOOOOVE it. This new mid-size is sooo big inside. I'm very happy so far.
I have decided to do my own make-up for my wedding. But was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make eyeliner and lipstick stay put the day of the wedding. My eyeliner tends to run when I cry and I'm sure it will be an emotional day.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
