Help!!! In need of a NYC Jeweler!

Hi!

I have had diamond stud earrings since I was 17 (my father gave them to me as a gift). I only wore them for about 2 months- and then one of the diamonds fell out. I was able to recover the diamond in between the wood floorboards of my house with a magnifying glass and tweezers (never underestimate the POWER of that St. Anthony prayer :)..

Anyway- they've been sitting in a zip lock bag for 10 years. They were originally set in yellow gold but I would like to get them set in either platinum or white gold.

Does anyone know a trustworthy jeweler I can drop them off with? I work in NYC so that would be the best for me.

jennbaby knows a good one,
you dont have to drop them off,
if you have the time you can make an appointment to have it done in front of you(shouldnt take very long)

Ive never used him but I have friends that rave about this guy named Ben Moses. He does a lot of wedding jewelry but Im sure he could do this as well.
