Help...can`t decide what makeup artist to use-LONG

I`m at the point where I really need to decide who I want to go to for a trial, and I`ve reviewed this board so many times that I`m more confused than ever! I know many of you have given opinions of Paula Young, Imakeyouup, Elena, etc. I don`t normally wear a lot of makeup so it`s hard to describe the 'look' I`m going for, but I have a vision of looking 'luminous' and 'glowing'...I hope that doesn`t sound silly, but if you felt that way after having your makeup done, please tell me who you used. Thanks!

Laura - I posted her info on the board. I don't wear a lot of makeup either and liked the way she made me look. Beautiful, light and trendy. I trialed with Elena and thought she put to much makeup on me, but other girls rave about her. I think you should trial with different people. I know it can get expensive but I think it is important for you to find 'your fit'.

Jeanne from the Lancolm Macy's counter in Commack. I had trials with Kristen (Enchante) and Paula Young - and the only time I felt I was glowing was with Jeanne. The others used too much make-up and it felt dark and heavy (and I'm used to wearing make-up daily). Her trial is free - let me know if you want her info.

Pauline I oved it!! I brought a picture of what I was looking for (one of Catherine Zeta-Jones and one of Pierce Bronson's wife)and she did it perfectly. I used those pictures because they have the same coloring as me, but I also told her exactly what I wanted.Just for extra help, I brought along my own make-up bag and shared my usual colors w/ her. I just got pictures back and I love the way it looks on film.Let me know if you need more info. Continued success to all...

I'm not sure if you remember or not, but I'm going to be using Pauline for my August wedding, but since I live out of state, I can't go for a trial until July? I was (am) all worried about not meeting her, and having a trial so soon before the wedding? Anyway, would you mind scanning the pics and maybe letting me see what they look like? I have yet to see any of her work? I'd really, really appreciate it!
