Honeymoon Registry

Hello everyone,
My FH was thinking it would be a great idea to have our guest put money towards our honeymoon instead of registering for things for our home which we already have. Does anyone know exactly how it works?
Has anyone created a honey registry?
How does it work?? and can you recommend a great company that we can use?

Thanks

Re: Honeymoon Registry

I use honeyfund. It's free. You make up the items on the list for example air fare and lets say you are asking for 10 $50 contributions to that. Your guests can pick multiple items of what they want to pay for like a shopping cart. Then they can state if they are going to pay cash at the wedding/shower or pay card through paypal (that has some interest on it.) Once they make the purchase they can print out a little gift card that they could put in card to give to you.

Hope I explained that well. If not the website breaks it down for you regardless.

Re: Honeymoon Registry

Thanks for the info on HoneyFund, definitely want to check that out, as our honeymoon is going to be a trip through Europe and won't come cheap!

Re: Honeymoon Registry

We were thinking of doing that as well, but there are lot of fees included, Like if someone wanted to spend $100 there is like a 8% fee and so on
