I AM SO ANGRY! (VENT - Re- wedding and beer bottles!)

After 2 years of planning the wedding it is 85 days away. I am so sick of what 2 of Fh friends have been doing for 2 years- 1. Mocking us why we had a 2 year engagement- and now that it is getting closer is asking - are u nervous etc.... then we are having a classy wedding, no beer bottles all beer will be in glasses and his friend, Jeff says- I cannot believe you are making us have beer in glasses, I can be the only one etc, with a beer bottle, etc. Mind u this is the same man who is making Fh change his bach. party becuase Jeff lives in Virginia and he can't make it the day Fh wanted it originally, so FH was nice enough to move the date. It is the policy of the catering hall also , not to have people walking around with beer bottles in there hands. and we do not want it. FH told him it is OUR wedding, and he had his 9 years ago, but the darn guy is driving me to go out and drink beer and get drunk. I am finding as the wedding is getting closer people are more opinated then ever before , and we are do this on our own no help finincially from his mom, and my parents have both passed

Everyone has advice for your wedding and they will give to you as well. I just told people that unless they are paying for the wedding, I don't want their advice. And if they don't like what we are doing, then don't come. Then I told them that we are sorry that they will miss a great party!

I know that sounds really pi$$y, but you just have to be tough!

tell him if he's not going to behave, you'll either not invite him or remove him from the wedding......
maybe not....can you have your FH talk to him and let him know that he's being inappropriate? and that it's upsetting you? maybe he doesn't realize how obnoxious he is!

Why don't you tell him it's the policy of the location...you had nothing to do with it. My hall has a 'No Shots' policy ...the B & G can order special for the bridal suite only....Why? Because all too often things get ugly when guests start doing shots.

I agree with having DH tell him it is the halls policy & that he now needs to lay off of both of you!!!!!!!!
