I booked my photographer!!!!

I am so excited!!! After seeing 7 photographers (Its seems like more) we finally booked with Ed Collins. I found him from his ad in New York Weddings magazine and we both absolutetly loved him and his pictures. He is on 23rd street in Manhattan which was convenient since I work in Manhattan. HE will be our photographer, as opposed to someone we wont meet until the day of. His packages were great. He has a true understanding of photojournalism. And the best part...his payment plan. We only had to put down $400 to hold the date and everything else is paid AFTER the wedding. His website is a work in progress but its www.edcollinsphoto.com

Jenny, I just checked out his website. The pictures are awesome! What are his prices like?

I would love my sister to be the Maid of Honor in my wedding. We lost our mother a few years back and this would be very special to her. However, she currently lives in Los Angeles and will not be here for most of the planning. My fiance's sister is also very close to both of us and is already involved in helping with the wedding plans. She lives in Long Island.

I think his prices are competative. We are getting the most expensive package at 3700 but we were only able to do this becasue of the payment plan (we only have to pay 400 before the wedding) Also its a little more expensive because we need three parent books. I thought he was every bit worth it. Call him and he will fax over his rates.

Congratulations! Isn't a great feeling when you make a decision like that...especially when you're really happy with the person you picked. Everything really starts to come together all at once! Good luck with the band or DJ.
