I can't even believe I am writing this.....

I started to write you all on Wednesday complaining about how much stress we are under in regards to us moving, putting the house on the market, FH no longer working, and how sad I was that everything was going on with only 4 weeks to the wedding when the worst thing has happened. My FH mother passed away 2 days ago. Completely unexpected with a brain aneurism. No symptoms. No problems. Just passed away. I just cannot even believe. I just can't. It is so overwhelming, so sad, so absolutely horrible that it's just so hard to wrap your heart around. The first thing my FFIL said was that the wedding goes on because Mom was so excited about it and would be so sad to have us postpone it. She is getting buried in the dress she was going to wear. I guess what I'm asking is for some hugs, prayers, and thoughts. With three weeks to the wedding, the funeral arrangements beginning today, I don't know why, but I've been on here for a little over a year and just felt like writing. Love your parents. Love your in-laws. Nothing is certain in life. Hug them all the time and let the small things go. The only thing that matters is family. Thank you everyone.

I'm so so sorry My parents went through a similar situation - my Grandfather passing about about 5 weeks before the wedding.

Although it will be sad that his mother isn't there, it will be good to have a happy event.

So sorry for your loss. An aunt of ours passed away in the same manner - no symptoms at all.

Oh Danielle I am so very sorry. I know what you are going through. My FI's mom passed away suddenly of the exact same thing 2 years ago. If you need to talk, let me know. I have been there. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Be strong for FH. He needs you now more than ever.

Thank you for writing those words. They are so true and I will take them to heart. Everyone gets so caught up in everyday life that we forget to stop and just be thankful of everything we have. I can't imagine what you and you fh's family are going through right now, but maybe you're wedding will be just what everyone will need to put a smile on their face again. I'm sure you both will take comfort in knowing that she will be watching over you on your wedding day, and every day after. Now you and your family will have a guardian angel with you all the time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and you family.
