The beginning of the week FH and I did our seating chart. He wanted to do it like Monica on Friends. So we had my dad scale out the room according to the seating chart CLM gave us. Then I had all these little post it tags and we wrote our guests on them. Let me tell you. It was sooo easy to do it this way because it was easy to make changes and visual where people would be in comparison to the exit, dance floor, us and the DJ. We were able to do this all in one day!I have a picture of it!

OMG thats really a great idea .. I hated doing the seating for my e-party ... I think i will try this when the time comes!

im totally going to do this or something like this when it comes time. I have to give my list in 2 weeks before the wedding to have the seating shadow box frame done in time.

have you been watching friends recently?
bc the wedding episodes have been on!!! and this being one of them... i think its a great idea and def see how it can be much easier to move people around... im gonna suggest this to my mom.. thanks!

No I haven't watched this recently, but FH and I have watched the series atleast 5 times...
And he always made fun when we watch that episode, that he's going to have no blue pins. So all of FH's guests are blue and the rest are mne. Which goes with what Monica and Chandler had

that's a great idea! i found a tip in a magazing about using paper plates and post-its. but this is awesome to have a BIG visual! great idea!!!

I have one better. I've already drawn a scale model on my computer with drafting software. That includes the size of the tables as well.

thats a great idea!im doing one online that i can move people around easily as well.
the one u posted is definitely more visual and easier for FH and his parents to join in too

I was trying to do it on the computer but it was way to difficult for me! I'm more of a hands on learner.. maybe thats the teacher in me
