I saw my first Temple...

OK so I went to my very first meeting with a Temple caterer tonight. I was there with my mom and oldest sister who is planning her son's Bar Mitzvah there in November. FH met us there. The place is under heavy major construction and they showed us the blueprints and fabrics and marbles etc etc. that will be in place as of September before the Jewish High Holidays. The place is going to be gorgeous and brand spanking new. They will shut down from July 3 through Labor Day to complete construction. The menu selections are amazing and the price is right.

So here I am thinking how exciting it is to be planning my wedding and right before FH got there, I had a panic attack and started to cry hysterically. I have no doubts about getting married. I have no doubts about who I am marrying. I just kept thinking that my Dad was missing from the equation and the fact that he won't be there makes planning hard for all of us.

Sorry so long. I just needed to vent.

Its totally understandable

This is a very stressful time for a bride BUT you have a particularly stressful situation with you Dad...we are all here for you

Definitely understandable- this is a VERY emotional time- not necesarrily about doubts but it is a HUGE milestone-

Under any circumstances it would be hard- with everything with your dad you definitely have 100x more stress...don't forget that you need to lean on people and let it out.
