What was the one thing that you really stressed out over that no one even noticed?

This is a good one.... honestly no matter how many times people told me not to worry about the small details I never listened. people really DO notice them. After my wedding everyone told me how nice it was and how thoughtful i was.
But dont stress..... write it all down and make a plan. Somehow it all comes together

I'd give myself more time to take pixx. Our ceremony was at 300 and our ch at 7 but the receving line was so long we were at church forever and i felt rushed while taking pix. Albeit i think we got every family shot we might have wantex I still feel like it was too rushed.

I agree with lizzie, all of the small details really did make a big difference. Everyone was complimenting on how everything tied together perfectly, and how they were impressed on how beautiful everything was. It was such a relief

to make sure to EAT! DH and I only had time to eat some CH food immediately after the ceremony. After that we were too busy saying hello, and mingling with everyone to sit down and actually eat. We were the only sober, and hungry ones there lol

There were TONS of DIY brides!!!! I'm going to leave this one to them. The only thing I DIY'd was my Thank You Parasol :)

Saved the most money were my invitations! I found awesome deals on all my card stock and envelopes - only spent about $100 on all the supplies to make them.

Did you use a DOC and feel that they were 100% necessary or do you think that your event would have been the same without them. If you didn't use a DOC did your Maitre D and Bridal Attendants take care of everything you needed? Can't wait for your answers and your review!!!!

Re: If you could ask a newlywed ONE question....
here are my answers....i tried not to stress over much...take your time and spread out everything you want to do over months so that it is fun and not a task. people DO notice the small details...however if they were missing they wouldnt notice (for example, people loved that i ordered live custom rose petals with our name on them and had them scattered on each table)
for the day of...my one big HUGE regret is not having a picture list. we have a lot of photos that were missing and i have spend hours on photoshop editing people in and out of pics so that i have the groupings that i want.
the on DIY project that i saved the most on was my cardbox...super easy and inexpensive
the one thing i opted not to do and wish i did would def be a photobooth...or even a photo guest book (saw another bride on here do that). we had our photographer and a zap shot photographer from the dj...the zap shot photographer was a waste! there were tons of people at the wedding that we have no photos of...but if we have a photobooth i think they would have went in and had some fun
we did not have a DOC and i absolutely positively did NOT need one. our venue had a great maitre'd and bridal attendant...everything was perfect. i am glad we didnt spend the money on one bc it would have been a waste!

THIS! Just like you, DH and I didn't get to enjoy cocktail hour even though we were there because we were too busy mingling.

Re: If you could ask a newlywed ONE question....
I made table number frames after seeing a real glass crystal one online. I think mine came out really great and even though it took a while to do 16 frames it was definately worth it.The DIY project that saved me the most money was making my own save the date magnets on vista print. I had ordered business cards from them before so I had an email for an extra amount of money off and got 150 save the dates for $20.
