Invites and rsvps

I wanna see what everyone else is doing... If you know (or have an idea) please share your wedding date, date you plan on sending the wedding invitation, and the RSVP date you are choosing

My wedding is 9/23/11.... I was thinking to send out invites by mid-July like 7/16 and put an rsvp date of 8/16....Normally I would do and rsvp of 8/23..However I've seen too many rsvp fiasco's lately...LOL.... I'm thinking an extra week to organize will definitely be helpful!

Wedding is 4/30, rsvp date 3/25 (about 5 weeks before) mailing invites sometime in feb..undecided if we should do beginning, mid, or end, but I'm leaning towards mid

don't know about the bridal shower so can't help you there.

Wedding Date: May 7, 2011
Plan to send invites: Feb 26, 2011 (10 weeks)
RSVP Date: March 26, 2011. Anyone who has not sent back the RSVP by that time, I will give until April 2, 2011 for a final decision. After that, you're out. I need enough time to complete the DIY stuff like the Seating Chart, print the programs and menus, and whatever else.

My wedding is August 6th so I can sent them out end May....but I just realized Monday May 31st is Memorial Day. So do I send them out right after memorial day or like 1 week prior to memorial day????

Then, we have July 4th 5 weeks prior to the wedding...so I guess I would RSVP for after July 4th...maybe the 10th
