Is that free vacation offer worth our time??

Just curious to know if anyone had thoughts about the free vacation offer. To me it sounds like a scam/ marketing tool. I read the old posts and am not sure if people thought it was worth it or not. I heard the prices were absurd. Did anyone who actually saw the products go on to take the vacation. I am sure there is a catch. There always is...

Tell them the wedding was cancelled (as if there is no chance you will need their services)...and if you sound sad and bitter, then they are sure to remove you from the list :-)

I had stuffed sole with crabmeat at a wedding last weekend. It was fabulous!

If you are talking about Prestige - they are a nightmare to get rid of! I dont know first hand about the actual trip but they will not stop calling me - I mean everyday they call at least 2x - I see their # on my caller ID. So...how exclusive can it be? They make it sound like you won something but it is a line of *&$^&%# in my opinion. Also, I have asked them to stop calling but I can't seem to get them to stop. I guarantee when I go home tonight, they will have called! Ay yi yi!!!!

How much $ are your centerpieces and what are they???

if they keep calling you, and you have asked them to stop, you can sue them for $500. Easy to do with caller id and i'm sure the $ will come in handy with a wedding coming up. All you have to do is complain to the attourney general (call them and they will send you the form). Most of the time they stop calling if you threaten to do this. Hope my info helped.

Thanks for the help. I'll try your suggestions and see which what works! I was going to tell them that we cancelled the wedding because my Fi caught me with his best man, but i didn't want to go that far! lol Thanks again.

I don't think they are having that anymore, since the state made purchases for most items of clothing up to $110 tax free permanently - except in Nassau.

That free vacation offer-Carrie

Really?! Of course I went home last night and they DID call. Yes the money could come in handy. I was wondering if I had any recourse, since it feels like harassment even if they are not leaving messages...Thanks for the info.
