Kinda Personal Question
I am officially 11 weeks as of yesterday and I am wondering when the horrible bloaty feeling will go away. I wake up in the morning and my stomach looks flat and 'almost' skinny. By three o'clock I look five months pregnant.. I don't get it?? Is there something you girls can tell me take to cut back on the gasy bloatness.. (if that is even a word)..I actually bought myself two pairs of maternity pants today to deal with my big stomach at the end of the day. Isn't way to early to be in maternity pants??
Thanks for any help or advise..
Kim

Re: Kinda Personal Question
Hum....I don't personally have experience with this issue as my belly was big all darn day long. It could be that you just 'feel' smaller in the morning. I was in a larger size jeans at 9 weeks or so.

Re: Kinda Personal Question
meet your twin Shamma. The book says that due to the slowing down on the digestive process this will happen, they say to try to get more water, fresh fruits and vegetables. It is the most umcomfortable thing, I feel like I am 500 mos preggo I hate bloating. It comes with the territory

Re: Kinda Personal Question
kim ... I bought some bigger pants pretty soon after I found out that I was pg. By the end of my first tri I wasn't showing, but definitely feeling 'rounder'. 11 weeks may be a little early for maternity, but its not like you won't use them eventually! Maybe some stretchie pants would be more comfy & let you breathe a little better.Good luck & wanted to send you a

Re: Kinda Personal Question
Don't worry! I'm 11 1/2 weeks pregnant and have been complaining about the same thing. I definitely have to go shopping this weekend for maternity clothes or I won't fit into anything. It's strange how we can wake up skinny and look so different later on, the only difference with us is I feel like I look 9 months pregnant in the afternoon!
Just enjoy it.

Re: Kinda Personal Question
This happened to me! I was a skinny minny flat belly in the am and a fat preggie by 5! It will pass in a few weeks...then you'll just be a fat preggie all the time.....
Gas is a big part of pregnancy unfortunately. Just stay away from the basics that would make you normally gassy, but it won't relieve it 100%. Your systems digestion is all new now!

Re: Kinda Personal Question
Well at least I am not all alone feeling like this. Here it is at 7:15 am and I can fit into my normal pants without any problem.. but I know by the end of the day I will have to secretly walk around with the top open to release some of the belly so it can breathe.. hahah..And I swear it is all food that does this to me.. at first I thought it was because I always ate too much salad.. so I cut it out to see.. nope.. it is any food greup.
Are over the counter medicine safe to take for gas though?? I have to ask my doctor.. (another question to write down to ask him)
Thanks,
Kim

Re: Kinda Personal Question
I have had the same problem and it is still happening, I'm 16 weeks now. I have had to wear maternity pants since 9 weeks because I work until 9 PM twice a week, and I'm like 7 months preggo at night.

Re: Kinda Personal Question
I don't remember when that went away but I remember waking up with a flat belly and then once I ate, my belly would get big. This would happen throughout the day. It was very strange.Welcome New Vendors
