Low rise pants?
Is this what I will have to look forward to? I went to buy a pair of pants for my sis in law who is preggo and very uncomfortable and can't find those pants with the pouch in the front that she loved last time she was preggo. So we went to the mall looking for her and I asked the lady in MiMi maternity and she said they don't really make that style anymore. All they make is low rise styles.I was looking forward to when I get preggo someday and being able to wear pants that pull up to my bra. I can barely wear low rise now. Who am I kidding I can't (in good fasion sense) wear them now. never mind with a VERY big belly.

Re: Low rise pants?
I got the same pants you are talking about at Motherhood Maternity...the big ol' elastic pouch and yes they were blue jeans and I lived in them!

Re: Low rise pants?
We found one pair of khaki ones for her but it was a struggle. I can't beleive they expect women to be slaves to fashions at 6, 7....months pregnant. My poor sis in law is so uncomfortable already at 6 months!

They have that style here in Buffalo, but that is probably because Buffalo is typically a little behind in the fashion sense!
See, I like the low rise ones and I find the full tummy to be uncomfortable!
Maybe their website has a better selection?

Re: Low rise pants?
Like Camille (NuBride) I also found those pants at Motherhood Maternity! What cracked me up with some of the 'new' maternity fashions, were the sizes of some of the tops!! Especially the Liz Lange ones in Target!! I couldn't fit my boobs in them when I wasn't pregnant, there was no way in heLL they were fitting in there when I was preggo!!! Maybe one boob, but definitely not both!!!
To me, especially since I was preggo in the summer and I HATE the heat, COMFORT was the key!!!!! I ended up buying a lot of tops and pants in XL or 1X because they were more comfy then some of the maternity ones!!!

Re: Low rise pants?
I had the opposite problem... All what I found was the pants with the huge elastic front that stretched so far up... I hate it when pants or skirts touch my stomach/belly button... so I was on the hunt for those low rise pants (finally found some).I know that old navy, gap, burlington coat factory and motherhood had the elastic front pants a couple of months ago...

Re: Low rise pants?
I'm with you on that one. Maybe it's just me because I seem to be in the minority, but I hate the low-rise cut pants. It makes me feel bigger than I am, and always makes me feel as if my pants are falling down!! Exceot when I am at work, I've been living in sweats I got at Target!

Re: Low rise pants?
I guess I'm the freak who LOVES low rise pants, especially while I was pregnant. I hated feeling anything across my belly and was more comfortable in low rise.In fact I have one pair of pants from Abercrombie that was so low I was able to wear them until my 8th month!

Re: Low rise pants?
I bought a bunch of really comfy plus size pants. I was larger than a size 12 to begin with and in the plusses.. I just moved up a size...I found really good deals out at the Riverhead outlets.... Motherhood maternity and Pea in a Pod are the same company. They are two different ends of the spectrum price wise, but the outlet had it all! They even had evening attire!
