Momma of the bride dresses...
Ok...I need to get my Momma moving!!! Where can she go to try on reasonably priced dresses in large sizes? She's probably around a size 16-18...

Re: Momma of the bride dresses...
My mom went to Sugar Plum in Lynbrook.I didn't go with her, but from what I understand, they have sresses you can buy off the rack, so they have diffent sizes (up to 24 I think) but they can order you something if they don't have the right color/size combo you need.
Not sure how reasonablly priced though. I Think it depends on the dress.
ETA: My mom went to a few places & said the ones that had the best selections were the places that just had evening gowns, no bridal gowns.
She also liked Totally You in Wantagh & she almost bought a dress there.

Hi, butting in. . .
I didn't go there, but I don't think it is. The dress my mom almost bought there was by Montage (a division of Mon Cheri)
So they carry wedding magazine advertised brands.

We ordered my mom's online, but she tried it on in bridal suite( I wouldn't recommend the place the people working there are a bit rude) but paradise bridal in patchogue has tons of dresses, i would go there.
