My 8-7-05 Meadow Club Wedding! - Now with some proofs!

I'll be adding to this review as time allows, but I wanted to start it. Enjoy!

Invitations and Bookmarks: Budget Print, Stony Brook A+

Jeanette was great to work with! Great prices, good selection and the invites and they came in quick! She sat and helped me out with wording, colors, etc. Very happy!

Dress/BM dresses: Bridal Suite of Centereach A+++

Nothing but good things about Bev and the Bridal Suite. My dress was in within 4 months, the girls was in within 3. Alterations were very inexpensive. I had put a down payment on my dress in January '04, but didn't order it until August, and even though the cap had increased, my stayed the same :) 4/5 BM dresses needed few alterations (my one BM's dress was about 2 sizes too big, that's my only complaint though).

I loved Bev! Without her I wouldn't have had my dress! I was dead set against a strapless, but she convinced me to try on one, and it was 'the' dress. I love her!

Hair: Lauren from Racine A+ She did a great job! All of the girls looked great! I loved my hair! My mom and grandma's also looked wonderful! I reccomend her!

Make-up: My friend Shari A++++ She did a fantastic job! Everyone looked amazing! It's hard to believe she's not professional! Plus, it was great to have her at the wedding for touch-ups!

Flowers: Malkemes (sp?) A++ The flowers came out beautifully! And the price was amazing! They were reccomended through the meadow club - they use them for the centerpieces included in the package. We upgraded our centerpieces, and, since we used them for the rest of our flowers, they gave us another $10 toward them - so we paid $15 for $40 centerpieces. They all looked beautiful! I was very happy with them!

Rings/BM Gifts: Alson's Jewlers A++++++ Now, i think i'm kind of biased because the owner is my MOH's dad, but they did a great job! Everything was perfect! So helpful! Daddy really worked with me to come up with the best match for my e-ring (which, he also helped DH pick out). Seriously, if you live in the Lake Ronkonkama area, go there!

Limo's: Sir Oliver A++ Used them for the bachlorette party, as well as pick-up/drop off day of. Nothing but good things! Both of our drivers were very courteous. The limo was beautiful! Very happy with them!

Photographer: Duet (I'll review when I get the proofs)

DJ: Absolute A - They did a really nice job! They weren't annoying, but they kept everyone dancing and entertained. You will not be disappointed if you use them!

Ceremony and Reception: The Meadow Club

Overall I give The Meadow Club an A. But I'm going to break it down.

Food A+++++ - OMG - so much food! And it was all delicious! Everyone was raving about how good everything was!

Organization: Okay, this was a little tricky. I'll give this a B-. Most of the day went flawlessly. However, the valet was supposed to bring our guests to the side, and that's where they were to enter to the ceremony site in the back. However, the Matri D never told them that, so they came in through the front, and had to go through the reception room. Not the end of the world, but it did get a little confusing. The rest of the day went very well though.

I have to add a special line for Kat, our Bridal Captain - A+++++++++++ I loved her! She was so helpful! All I wanted from the cocktail hour was Calamari, and within minutes, I had my Calamari - and she kept all the squid stealing groomsmen away from in

Overall, my day was beautiful! It was hot as h3ll, but I guess that's what I get for having an august wedding

I wanna do it again!
