NEXT G2G!!! SUGGESTIONS PLEASE: january 7, 2005!!!

We all had sucha blast at this g2g we def. wanna do another one. hopefully everyone can come this time. Since the holiday time is sooo nuts someone suggested that we do an after holiday bash which i thought was a great idea.. Im proposing the date of January 7, 2005!!!!! lemme know what u all think, we can do it at sutton place again since its manhattan located or we can pick a queens location..opinions r welcome:)

That sounds good, I vote for doing it in the city again, but well see what is convenient for everyone else.

i thin k NYC works best because it's centralized

1/7 works well weather permitting and pending if DJPill is at the booth that evening

Well since I'm not a Queens girl , I would prefer NYC... but if its easier to do elsewhere , in Queens or LI so that more folks can attend, of course I can be flexible

1/7/05 sounds good to me. I'll check w/DH

I would do January 14th personally. A lot of people might be off that first week of January due to the New Year.

You guys are more than welcome to come back to Sutton Place. Or if you want variety and somebody knows of another good bar... we can meet elsewhere else. If you guys want to do a different bar... I can just take the night off from SP to meet up. It doesn't matter to me either way.

The 7th sounds good to me. We don't have any January plans yet. Either the city or Queens works, but the city is probably more convenient for most.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Friday was a lot of fun, but it would be nice if we could talk without screaming.

you read my mind! Friday's was the first thing I thought of, but I was trying to think if I could come up with something a little different. I don't really like the Fridays in the city. I've found the service to be bad at a couple of them, and the prices are much higher than at other Fridays. You also can't use your Friday's card for points at the ones in Manhattan.

Something along those lines would be great though.

I was thinking a restaurant too but not TGIF, way too expensive and way too crowded.

What area(s) of the city do we want to consider? I know a good place called America that has all kinds of food and drinks..it's really big too. It's on 18th St., I think, so I dont' know if that's too far south for some people. I'll go anywhere.

I've never been to Houston's, but I've heard it's good. Isn't it near Sutton Place? I remember noticing it while I was walking from the subway on Friday.

I know there are a couple locations in the city, I think there is one on Lexington but forget the cross streets.

I can do either date, and a restaurant is a great idea

I like Houstons.. I'm pretty sure its on Third Ave, somewhere close to the Citicorp blgd (around 51st/52nd?)
