Re: Ok, trying to post picture of invite
Ok, I haven't gotten them yet, but I will once we know which wording we want.We found the invite at a stationery store in Brooklyn (Park Slope) called Lion in the Sun, on 4th St. and 7th Ave.
Its from Birchcraft Treasured Love Collection, Style F9512 (or Y9512).
Then I looked on yahoo for dealers that had the picture online, and I found it here:
http://personallyforyou.invitations.com/catalogs/birchcraft/content/s1922/birchcraft/paty3175.html
The prices on this site, which is in WI, are below what I will pay by purchasing from the store, but not too much below that I would lean towards ordering online.
Here are the prices from the store in Brooklyn - for 100:
Invite w/double envelope: 150
Return address: 32
Liner: 20
Response Cards: 99
Thank you's: 90
You also get a 5 or 10% discount if your order is more than $300, so I think we'll be paying a total of about $270, without the thank you cards.
You can also get a cheaper version of a font, but its not that much cheaper to make you change the mind. And they also have the same invitation in large square format.
Also, the things that look like shadows, they're not shadows, invitation has this 'mother of pearl' shade circles as a background, and under photographs they look like shadows, its hard to explain.
I hope this helps

Re: Ok, trying to post picture of invite
Dubliner, you may want to ask on the vendor board if any of those guys carry birchcraft or just go to a stationery store on LI.I wish I could help you, but so far the only LI vendor that we booked is photo/video, and that's with Imagine studios....
