Okay, I have a guest list question...

I was just working on my guest list. I know it's early but I'm trying to gather all of my guests for my STDs which I'm making myself, so I'm figuring I'll need time to make them. Anyway, our hall guarantee is 180. We're hoping 200 will attend, but our list so far is over 200. Let's say we invited 250 (with an A and B list of course to stay AT 200). How many of those people by statistics would actually come?

I think it really depends on the list. For us, almost 100% of the 95 people we are inviting will come. There comes a point I think on every list when the stats tip though. If you have an average size family on both sides, I'd guess that if you invited 250, you'd have about 210 in attendence.

The average no's is usually about 20% of your total list.

We're having a small wedding so the amount of people we invited 95% of them are coming.

I hope there's a 20% regret rate...At the last minute, we ended up inviting LOTS more people because our moms got to us. They offered to pay if these people do show up. BUT, we can only hold 180 and we invited 225

So far, I have 8 regrets and the invites only went out 1 week ago...

I was actually afraid that my hall wouldn't hold over 200, but I just called there and the max for our room is 280. So if we go over 200, we'll be okay. I was worried about that.
