Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
Have the final 3 for photography and video! Don't want to be have this go on forever, so any feedback on these 3 would be great and if anyone met with all of these, what made you decide to go with whoever you did. Thanks!

Re: Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
I've met with Patken and Lighthouse. Both had beautiful photography and were personable. I'm leaning more towards one than the other, but I still have some looking to do.

I love both Patken and Lighthouse. I don't know much about Park Ave. I choose Patken but it was a close call. Very happy with my decision so far. I will try and upload pictures into my album.

Check out their Facebook for some samples as well as their website.
Patken looks nice but I never met with them and never looked into Park Ave.
There are so many companies and I don't think you can go wrong with those, it's just a matter of who you feel comfortable working with and who can do the style you like. Lighthouse can really do anything you ask.

Love Lighthouse! I wasn't really a fan of the photographers they showed me at Patken, but they were definitely reasonably priced with their package and such. JMO. Good Luck!

Re: Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
I wasn't really impressed with Lighthouse. Maybe it was there prices or the fact that he did my friends wedding three years ago but he wasn't the owner. Good for him for getting his own place. I just saw Patken and was very impressed. I wanted to check out Park avenue before I make a decision which I will Friday. I will let you know. But I also think its a personal opinion as well.

Re: Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
I used Lighthouse. I think it was when they were first starting out. I LOVED them!! Florio is sooo nice and personable he made everyone feel great. He even got my stepdaughter to open up and she was really shy because she didn´t speak any English basically. He did my wedding and also my sister´s. I would recommend them 150%!! If you go to their contact page that´s my wedidng invite!! And my sister said that when she went in to see them they had made a whole album with my pics and that it looked great!! I dont´know if he still has it since my sister was married a year ago but my husband and I are Alex and Gemma.
Since I was planning a NY wedding with a South American budget, I only went for their very basic package with just gave me the pics on a DVD. I have about 3000 pictures!!! They are so beautiful!!

i have to say Patken but thats only cause i was more impressed with there style, and actually REALLY loved them when i first met them at a showcase at our hall. they were the only vendors that whole night i didnt wanna smack lol they werent pushy and just got an all around good vibe from them.then after booking and having our E-Pics done i was just happier and happier with our decision.

Re: Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
It's definitely all about opinion. My fiance' & I met Patken at a bridal showcase & booked an appointment with them for about a week and a half later. They wrote it in their appointment book & they gave us a piece of paper with a reminder. I was excited to meet with them. We got there on a Tuesday at 7:30 and the woman just looked at us and was basically like 'What are you doing here?' and questioned whether we had an appointment or not.... she put us in a room and we were there for about 15 minutes alone. Finally she came in with albums to look at, but I guess they double booked appointments because another woman kept taking the albums before we were done to bring them somewhere else. When the woman went over the information & price listings-she spoke so fast and sounded so completely uninterested in making a sale.
We personally were not impressed with their work... I get they have a certain 'look' for their company, but I don't want my wedding pictures to look like every. single. couple. that uses the company. There was no creativity, in my opinion. Besides we were so turned off by the woman's rudeness in the beginning of the meeting, that I confirmed with my fiance' about 5 minutes in that we would not be using them.
Lighthouse, however, we loved Florio's work and I've read nothing but wonderful, positive things about him, the company and his work. We were at a meeting with him for 2 hours and NEVER ONCE felt rushed or in the way. Florio did most of the talking, we probably could have been there for another hour! haha
He gave us plenty of time to look at the sample albums and the DVDs & discuss amongst ourselves. It was just such an overall positive experience that I KNEW we had to go with Lighthouse.... and we did! I am so excited for Florio's vision for our wedding day to come to fruition. He 'got' exactly what I was looking for!
Park Ave-I actually did want to meet with them. However, his hours did not coincide with my & my fiance's work hours, so we had to scrap that idea.

Re: Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
Depends on what you are looking for... but, if I had to pick out of the 3 based on the company and actual photos, I would go with Patken (just my opinion).

Re: Patken vs Lighthouse vs Park Ave
Depends on what you are looking for. Patken has had some 50/50 reviews. I wasn't into their style of photographer since every shot kind of looked the same. I love Lighthouse and working with Florio has been wonderful. He got my FH to smile which is a difficult task. He always gets back to me quickly.
