QOTD - Friday
What's the best or most memorable present you ever got? (ering doesn't count)I have always wanted the Return to Tiffany bracelet, and for my 18th birthday my mom finally got it for me. I dunno why but I still think that's the best gift I ever got. I love it.

Re: QOTD - Friday
An American Doll when I was really little. I wanted one so bad, and 'santa' brought it for me. I was super excited about that. From FH, it definitely would have to be a diamond eternity ring he bought me for my birthday about 2 and a half years ago. I still wear every day. People think its a wedding band though..haha

Re: QOTD - Friday
For my confirmation my grandma bought me a beautiful bracelet with the x & o design on it (a tennis bracelet) but I was 12 and dumb and I lost it
so for our 1 year anniversary FH searched and bought me the exact one I lost. I haven't taken it off since.

Re: QOTD - Friday
My best friend made me a scrapbook for my high school graduation. It contained things from all the years we were friends, dating back to our childhood. She put so much work into it and I'll cherish it forever.

Re: QOTD - Friday
I tried REALLY hard to pick just one but I couldn't it would have to be a tie between the time my parents bought me my Opal birthstone ring when I was 7 and when FH bought me the 'Future Mrs. ' sweater, because we weren't even engaged yet it showed me that he really wants to be married to ME!
ps. the runner up gift was actually a book one of my 8 year old students made for me a couple of years ago for Christmas called 'My best friend is my Dance Teacher, Miss Natalie' She made it out of white paper that she clipped together, she wrote all of the pages and drew all of the pictures....I cried when I got it...it was AWESOME!

Re: QOTD - Friday
Ok..I hope you all don't think this is a downer answer, but I helped care for my best friend after her stroke in March 2006 up until her death that August. After she died, her husband gave me the gold Maltese cross that his father had given to her when they first got married.I didn't understand the significance of it, until I asked my priest if he could bless it and he told me the Knights of Malta are very active in caring for the sick.
I'm going to wear it on my wedding day.

Re: QOTD - Friday
Its really hard to choose but I think it will be the earing and ring my mom got me for my 15th b-day. It was the 1st b-day after my parent divorce and my mom was only making enough, one day we went to the mall and I kept looking at those earings. The morning of my b-day she woke me up with the box with the earings and ring...
