Repost from 06 Board for more opinions- Which MOB dress do you like better?

My Mom is having a hard time deciding which of these two dresses she likes for herself for my wedding. They both look nice on her and they are almost (very close) the same price.

Though the back of #2 is very nice, I personally like #1 better. Are these the colors she's considering?

They would both be the same color as #1 (rosewood)

That's a good point. My Mom will only be 45 when I get married. She loves the train on # 2 (not my favorite), but I can see my Dad stepping on that train all night long.

I LOVE the first one! The 2nd one is nice too, but I'm not as big a fan of the sheerness on top.

Yeah at one point she wanted to punch her boyfriend b/c he had stepped on it so many times and she kept telling him to becareful lol
Esp during the conga line
It was all black and a little tattered when everything was said and done!!!

ETA: Also the 'train' on #2 is sheer... It might actually rip if its not really strong

Ooops I didn't want to scare her! lol I was just trying to warn her!!!
I really do love #1 though there is something about it.... She is going to look gorgeous im sure!! Im glad she went with the one you liked more anyway

I think #1 is a bit less like a MOB dress..so that's the one I vote for...other is a bit, excuse the phrasse, matronly, IMO

The designer is Mon Cherie for their Montage collection. RKBridal has it priced at $420.
