since we both have the same family and friends and My sil found out she was preggo they are telling everyone that we are preggo too and I really wanted to wait but now I have no choice but to tell everyone. They think its cool that we are preggo together and they feel the need to share it with every Tom D*ick and Harry. This kinda stinks because I really wanted to wait until the 12 wks to tell people that Im not close too and now everyone knows.

I told her that I dont appreciated that and Im old fashioned and supersticious and to please ask me before telling next time

I would be pissed as well. I made the grandparents wait till I was 7 weeks and had an ultrasound with a baby and heartbeat and was able to hear it.
My MIL was pissed about that because she said she wanted to tell everyone.

Funny thing is we made her realize why we didn't want people to know and then when we called her from the ultrasound she didn't call anyone for 2 days.

People are wierd.

Your family should hear the news from you and DH when you are ready to announce it not from him.

OH NO NO NO NO!!! That is BULL!! It's one thing if they want to tell people now, but they have NO right to tell anyone about you OR make you feel like you have to tell anyone until you are comfortable!!!

My SIL is 3 weeks ahead of me... when they announced to the rest of the family, they did not mention me at all or made me feel like I should say something when I wasn't ready!

I hope you can have a talk with them and ask them to please just share their own news!

I would be extremely pissed and have some choice words for BIL and his wife/girlfriend. So completely inappropriate to pass your news along - that's your perrogative...
