Things your DH pretends to hate but secretly loves.....

Does your Dh do this?

My Dh will say he hates a show but then he sits and watches the whole thing. The other night I was watching Sex and The City even though he 'hates' it I caught dh laughing and the page in the magazine he was reading didn't get turned until the commercials.

The same applies to music he will roll his eyes when I pick a pick a song on the iPod but I know on the inside he is dancing. I know deep down he really loves Girls Aloud and when Total Eclipse Of The Heart came on he complained at first but then he turned the radio up. '.....turn arounf bright eyes. Every now and then i fall apart and I need you now tonight...................'

It reminds me of this you can change it if you want.

Dh pretneds to hate magazines I but yet gets annoyed if I throw them out before he reads them

DH pretends to hate Project Runway, but he has watched it with me and made comments about this designer and that model..

our cat


DH swears he isn't a cat person....could care less about our cat.....would throw him out in the cold to die. he tells all our friends this.

yet when he comes home the cat greets him and hes all 'hows the bubba doing?' and then cuddles with him on the couch.

omg he would straight up MURDER me if he knew i posted these.

Reality TV......he freaking LOVES it. He'll never admit it though....and he'll talk shiit about it whenever it comes up, but when I'm watching Real World/Road Rules Challenge and Real Housewives he's right there next to me with popcorn.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I watch it every sunday. He'll find me crying in a heap about the family; shake his head and walk away.... But somehow, he reappears EVERY time for the big reveal, when they tour the the new house... 'Would ya look at that, that's amazing'.

AND

Desperate Housewives. He never watches it with me but somehow knows all the the plot twists. (She's with Carlos right? She's the pregnant one right? I don't trust that guy (Orson) ).

OMG, your kitty is too cute!!

same would go for my DH. when we first started dating, i told him, love me, love my cat. and he said he could like, but never love her. now that's his baby!!!

also, DH swears he hates animated TV shows, yet whenever i have Family Guy on, he'll sit and watch, but if i ask him to join me when it's on, he's all NO, i hate that show!

the accent does throw it off when you are trying to listen for the gay lisssssp

and in pete's defense--the cat did lay on his chest AFTER he fell asleep in that pic. i think he enjoys embarassing photo ops

GREAT thread

DH loves the Hills more than I do!! He loves all the RR/RW challenges

He is another Extreme Makeover Home Edition Fan. . .There was one where a marine lost his leg in the war and then his wife left him with his children - he COULDNT stop talking about what he would do that to woman if he ever met her he was SO angry about it for weeks after the show aired.

He would like the show more if he could hear it over my sobs.

And my personal favorite, General Hospital. He abuses me for watching it but then he will come out with some little detail i barely remember or ask some random question about it.

The funniest was last Friday something HUGE happened ( dont want to ruin it for anyone ) and HE called ME and told me i better watch it!!!

He rolls his eyes every time I tell him a story but the minute I get off the phone with a girlfriend/mother/anyone, he's like 'So what happened????? ' And then if I say, 'Oh. I thought you didn't care about _______' He'll say 'Well I know you are going to tell me anyway so I may as well just hear it now. Tell me tell me tell me!!!!'

Oh, and he's like an old washwoman with the guys at work. They all know every intimate detail of the other's lives. They are worse than women!

any DVD series we watch...he pretends to hate it and will only 'let' me watch one episode, but he's the first one hitting next on the remote control...such a loser!!!

I was going to say the same thing, but mine is Days of Our Lives. If I am watching it on the tivo he will come in and take over the remote because I don't fast forward fast enough through the commercials!!
