We did our seating chart.... Friends style! with pic

We did our seating chart.... Friends style! with pic

The beginning of the week FH and I did our seating chart. He wanted to do it like Monica on Friends. So we had my dad scale out the room according to the seating chart CLM gave us. Then I had all these little post it tags and we wrote our guests on them. Let me tell you. It was sooo easy to do it this way because it was easy to make changes and visual where people would be in comparison to the exit, dance floor, us and the DJ. We were able to do this all in one day!

I have a picture of it!

Yup at first, we had older people sitting next to the DJ, but we were able to see that it wasnt going to work. We didnt specifically stick to the old/even for fh side or my side, we went with what worked best placement wise after the family tables

ha, that's funny. I can't wait to finish my seating chart. I have it basically figured out, but i can't finalize until i know for sure who's coming. Annoying people refuse to RSVP. But maybe I'll try this 'Friends' method

I love all those wedding planning episodes. That looks great though. Wish we did that!! I had to redo my chart like a billion times!

i plan like 2 dinner events each month, each for 150-200 people - and I ALWAYS do my seating just like that! I use blue for guys, pink for girls, yellow for VIPs. =)
