When to have a baby

How old do you want to be when you have your first child?

FH and I would like to travel a little and I'm 27 right now so we're probably going to have our first at 29.

I want to buy our home first and try to pay it down as much as possible first before we start talking about kids.

thanks! i totally understand wanting to wait - but DH and i have lived together for several years now and our itch is more of a burn now

I don't have a specific age in mind more then where I want us to be in terms of financial stability. For me...I'll try once we are settled in a house.

I want to have the first kid before I am 26. I am 24 now, so we are going to start trying sometimes next summer

Not too sure. DH and I really want to enjoy our lives with just each other for a while. We have decided to talk about it IF the itch arrises.

a couple years atleast...i could go for five yrs. which would put me at 27....but we'll see how long it lasts before we get the baby itch

i'd like to start trying when i'm about 30, which will be in 4 yrs. DH says he'd like to when he finishes up grad school, which would be less than 2 yrs (hopefully). i think that's a little soon, but who knows how i'll feel when he graduates?

32 or 33..
we are waiting a little bit.. i am 29 and my dh is 31

I just started my career a year ago and really want to stick with it for a while before we have kids.. and also money money comes into the factor
