Re: Winter Ideas
I am getting married in Dec and since the venue is going to be decorated for Xmas I decided to stay away from white/ice blue etc. Winter Wonderland theme. I was afraid it would clash. Instead my colors are black/silver and a touch of red. My centerpieces are 3 different size clear glass cylinder vases filled with sliver and black Xmas balls, sliver and black sprays coming out of the tops to give the extar effect, red rose petals and votive candles around the base of them. I am going to have crystal snowflakes on my cake, my place card holders are little clear glass ornaments with snowflakes on them, filled with fake snow and the cards themselves also have little snowflakes on them. My favors are assorted snowflake ornaments. I am even ordering silver and black candle luminer table numbers that will have snowflakes on them. That way the feel of winter is there but not so much that it clashes with the venues Xmas decorations.Hope this helps a little!
Congrats and best of luck with your wedding!

I love the idea of snowflakes. I think I can incorporate this idea into a lot of the decorations, invites, etc.

Winter Ideas
I think a good winter/ Christmas theme is based off the natural winter/ Christmas. I am doing a winter/ Christmas wedding and using the traditional Christmas/ Winter elements and decorating everywhere!!! For added touches, theres lots you can do inexpensively such as invites, place cards, favors, place cards etc.

Winter Ideas
My marriage was winter wedding... But I decided to go stay away from white, snow, and all that stuff... I don't know but that made me depress. :PSo i decided to go for red and golden theme... and trust me every one was shocked and appreciated to do something different. I was warm and really cozy.

Winter Ideas
I am friends with a wedding planner and she said that a nice touch to any seasonal wedding is to have a special theme drink. (EX: Fall wedding maybe have a carmel apple martini, or for a winter wedding maybe a special peppermint drink :)

I like white branches too. I'm not big on snowflakes but they always look pretty. I'm thinking about using pine cones and decorating them for winter to hold guests place cards?
