decisions used to be so easy!!

decisions used to be so easy .... go to college, get a job, move out of parents' house, etc

now they are so much less linear and i am having such a hard time deciding ANYTHING

should i save my money, or spend it on vacations now while we don't have kids to worry about? ... should we buy a house or stay in our co-op? ... etc

i just hate that there's no right or wrong here ....

i'm the kind of person who likes to know what's ahead so not being able to decide on the semi-near future is driving me nuts.

so now that i'm done b!tching (for now), does anyone else feel this way?

yeah, but i get so cheap and start worrying about not having money in the future to buy a house

regardless, i'm thinking the next big thing on DH and my list is a vacation .... now to decide which one (we're thinking either a 7 day cruise or 4 day non-cruise in europe ... they come out only a couple hundred dollars apart)

more days = better!

also since you dont need to worry about transportation or food w the cruise, it is probably the cheaper option

another idea - rent an apartment for a week somewhere. its usually cheaper than hotels and you can spend the days/nights exploring.

we did this in sicily a few years ago - awesome!!! and we are looking at it for our time in prague this summer

I understand, but then again, there may come a time that you don't have an opportunity to do these vacations either. What if you took a big vacation every other year and even it out? I think that's our plan for now.

I feel the same way... you know we spend so much time in school... everything has a routine, a plan, the progress is paced meticulously... and then once you get married and get a job... the goals are harder to find, the pacing and progress gets all uneven.... and decisions become very hard!!

Agreed! DH and I have the next 3 summers planned for all the stuff we want to do before the house and the kids.
