My upstairs neighbors decided to go at it around midnight on Saturday and I had no idea that he was a hardcore grunter and she was a super loud screamer. We heard everythinggggg...dirty talk...directions...everything! It went on for at least an hour...my dogs were going ape sh!t! These people are older than my parents. So I was

I was kinda skeeved out knowing that much about them...but DH was so calm lol Maybe he is just more mature than me?

Hahaha. I think it depends on if you know they are attractive or not.

If they're older than your parents, I'd invest in ear plugs.

Also, what you can do is play music a little on the loud side. If they ever complain, tell them that you put it on that loud to drown out what you hear from the other apartments and give them a little look.

Yuck.

my upstairs neighbors go at it at 3am, and she moans, really really really loud. they are close to my age, but still. 3am? people are sleeping...perhaps keep the moaning down.

oh, and get some DW40 for the bed frame.

I was watching 'the Runaways' on cable...blasting the Joan Jett song parts. I was hoping they would be done after each song..no such luck. Seriously, I bet he is a 'little blue pill' guy. I was hoping they would complain..so I can could say..'Well, I had to make my TV louder so that I wouldn't have to hear her yelling at you to do it harder. If you would just do it harder to begin with I could keep my TV at a decent volume'. I practiced saying it all night!

Ew definatly weirds me out.

My senior year of college there was a guy that lived upstairs from me. Him and his gf did it like 5 times a day and were so noisy. After awhile it was less creepy and just plain annoying!!

um doesnt really creep me out but it is annoying, more so though if dh and me both hear it cuz then i feel pressured to have some myself with him lmao, i know..so bad. it does weird dh out though, he HAS to leave the room.

funny sidenote, we call our upstairs neighbor ozzy, i never saw him but dh has and says he looks like ozzy, so anyway ozzy has LOTs of sex eery single sunday morning for hours on end. lmao

eta: now that i think about it, when we hear 'ozzy' its just the bed and so its annoying but on vacation recently we heard a girl moaning and that really did creep me out.,

it is uncomfortable but the only thing we hear these days is a 6 week old baby crying and screaming.

when DH and i first started dating he had a roommate. it was this guy that DH knew fairly well but not close friends by any stretch. it was a really large 2 bedroom and an awesome apartment so it was a pretty sweet set up....UNTIL....until the roommate started dating this girl. she was an absolute ANIMAL in the sack...i mean the noises she would make were not hot or sexy or okay. it was like legit horrifying! UGHHHH! we would just put music on. needless to say, we hit the freakin HIGH ROAD as soon as the lease was up.

so gross! some people get turned on knowing others can hear them. can they tell you're home? can they see your car or something to know if you're home or not?

They totally knew we were home. The walls in the condos here are super thin..so I know they could hear my TV. I bet they do get off on knowing we could hear.
