DH is an attorney and therefore inherently a much better and more effective arguer than I. He usually ends up pushing me to the point of total frustration and I start cursing, shouting, and stuttering. At this point any and all credibility I might have had goes out the window.

We usually end up going at it for a bit - which isn't pretty - then we end up laughing our @sses off and addressing the underlying issue.

ITS UGLY. i am the lawyer so i am good at arguing in theory but when we fight be both make no sense and are all over the place. 2 VERY stubborn people. i cry, he yells, we eventually just get over it.

We don't yell, sometimes curse a little though. I am one of those fighters who says things that really hit below the belt. I am working on it though because I know how hurtful I can be. DH gets really quiet when he's mad and I just let him marinate until he gets over it.

I fight like that too...get below the belt. gotta work on that myself. LOL.

This exactly. He refuses to fight with me. We are pretty boring fighters in general. No cursing or yelling.

would love if that was us, but alas.....

we are both very very explosive ppl so we fight to the death - I too am a below the belt hitter and DH stops making sense early in the fight so we just escalate
and then we run out of steam I guess at some point and just kinda get over it.

I like to talk it out...He likes to not talk until he gets his thoughts straight and is in a better mood. So it's usually a bit of yelling first, then him not talking to me, and me crying. LOL

We have gotten much better though with our fighting and hopefully will continue to improve. He never goes days without talking to me. I told him I couldn't take that. I HATE the silent treatment...but if he needs a few hours to cool off, it's probably better.

He says he doesnt want to say anything in the heat of the moment that he will regret.
