good wine glasses?

My friend recently bought a house and i'm a sucky friend and haven't gotten her a gift yet.

i want to buy her a set of white wine glasses and a set of red wine glasses (and pair them up with a bottle of red & one of white wine) ... can someone show me some nice wine glasses (perhaps ones you own)?

I went to BB&B but all the ones i saw were made of VERY thin glass and she's clumsy, i know they'll break within a day

TIA

Re: good wine glasses?

I love my Lenox 'tuscany classics' wine glasses - but DH is very clumsy and yes! they break easy!!

What about the stemless ones... they seem to be a bit more sturdy... Glasses

it's a good idea ... but she's not into the 'modern' look so i don't think she'd like 'em. Thanks anyhow

No joke, Mor. You know we're no help.

We mostly drink our of souvenir slurpee cups with Iron Man and Hulk on them. So...

Re: good wine glasses?

my cousin bought us these for our engagement:

they're quite heavy and made of thick crystal, but it's definitely a specific kind of look. it's Galway Irish Crystal, and they make a few different styles, so maybe the others are a little more diesel than some other dainty wine glasses out there.

Re: good wine glasses?

you can try Tiffanys. They have very nice glasses and I don't think they are to pricey.
