Waiting for Verizon to come. They said between 8-5. What are the odds that they will come early enough that I can go out and enjoy the rest of my day off?Well at least I am not at work

I tried yesterday when they called to confirm. They couldnt even tell me if it will be in the morning or afternoon. I guess its trash tv all day

No we have it already. We had cancelled my MIL phone line but didnt realize that our ADT was connected to that line. So we have to have our phone line run downstairs to the main phone line (where my MIL's was) for ADT.

Ahhhhh gotcha.
Order in for lunch and veg out until they get there! Hopefully you can relax a bit.

wait -- ADT needs a phone line????i was thinking bout getting a security system, but they never told us this! they said they just need to connect it to a power cable.

Yeah - I guess. When they do a monthly check of the system they do it through the phone. We didnt know this either -when we cancelled MIL's phone line a week or so later our alarm started going off. When we called they told us this was the reason. When they came to fix it they couldnt attach it to our line because it came in through the 2nd floor or something like that. IDK I got confused. So we have to have our line connected to the main line.
