How longs... Re: Thank yous

So how long after your wedding did you send out thank yous? And if you haven't sent them out yet, when are you planning to?



My mother is on my a$$ about this every day saying, 'You need to get your thank you's out now because before you know it you'll need to send out thank you's for the baby shower!' And one of her 'friends' (who didn't even come to the wedding with a lame excuse) asked if I mailed them out already! Jeez!

Looks like I'll be getting mine out just past the 6 month mark. I don't think that's so bad, right???

I sent mine out 1 month after the wedding....but I am semi OCD and it was driving me crazy to have my Thank Yous not completed!

We got them about a month ago...really need to get motivated to start writing them. I'm thinking they'll be sent out before our 5 month anniversary (April).

I used photos to make the card, so I had to wait the month for the proofs, then another few weeks to design and print the cards. We got most out before the 3 month mark, but there are probably 20-30 I still need to send. Ugh. Hopefully I can get them out before 4 months!

Most of mine went out two months after. There were a couple of stragglers that I sent out right before the three month mark.

ours were out 1 month after the wedding. We had to wait until the photos were ready and whatnot, and basically banged them all out thanksgiving weekend. If i didnt do them then I knew I'd never find the motivation.

As a kid my mom used to make me write thank yous for everything so it was natural for me to get them out the door quickly.

I haven't sent them out. I wrote out all of mine, stuffed and addressed them but I'm waiting for DH to write his out.

We had our 4 month anniv yesterday and so far ive only written out 5. We had to wait for pur proofs, but ive had them for about a month and a half or so. Dh has bad handwriting so i have to do all 100+ im hoping to send them out before march is over. So that would be 5 months after the wedding

I'm still waiting for my photographer to finish designing them. I was supposed to have the design two days ago.
I'm not in any real rush though... but I do want them in the mail before April 9 (6 month mark)

We got ours out in between the 3-4 month mark and I felt bad that it took me that long.

Although I went to a wedding last April and one in May that I never received TYs for... and one in September as well. I think the sooner the better. If you have the cards just bang 'em out and get them in the mail.

Some people's went out at 5.5 months and the rest went out at 6 months ( just now !)

Mine were sent out by the 2-month mark.....but I wanted them done with.
