I cant believe what happened this morning (Update)

Ever since I had my accident a little over a year ago I really dont like driving in the rain when its dark out. So this morning I took the bus to the train to work. While waiting for the bus across the street on the corner there is this man showing me his azz- Not like the way the kids wear the pants hanging down- but his pants down to his knees. . He then turned around had 1 hand on his hip while he was having fun with himself. I didnt know what to do - a car then came down the block and he quickly pulled up his pants. As soon as the car passed he showed me his azz again and walked away. This really scared me. If I ran home I would have had to run right past him.
Should I report this? I really dont know what he looks like except that he wasnt old at all- had a huge beer belly- dark hair and black sweatpants. What is scary too is that he walked up my street and probably lives right there.

Sorry so long but this totally scared the crap out of me\

UPDATE-

So Jerry and I just got back from the police station. They pretty much told me that they couldnt do anything. He didnt even want to write it down at first. He kinda got nasty with me when he asked why I didnt call 911. I told him I didnt know what to do- I was shocked that this was happening. He finally wrote down the area it happened in and the discription of the guy and they said they will send a car around tomorrow to see if there are any strange looking people around.
My fault for not calling right away!

Oh Celia - Sorry this happened to you - Not a good way to start the day. I would call and report it - if not only for your peace of mind, but so that no one else has to go through this - especially if there are children around.

Oh man-that's horrible!! Sorry you had to go through that. I would totally report it. Chances are he'll do it again today and the cops can arrest that creep-o.

OMG thats awful!!! Definitely report it! These creeps should be taken off the street...

My bff once had a guy expose himself by opening up his trench coat as she was approaching a subway entrance - such a violating, gross feeling.

when you say he was having fun with himself, what do you mean exactly? i think that is a factor in whether i'd report it...

He was j'ing off while facing me. I just quickly looked the other way- I had looked back again as the car was passing and thats when after the car passed he had his back to me again with his pants down.

I was afraid to look away for long because I didnt know if he wasgoing to come up to me when I wasnt looking.

IDK but I think I am going to have Jerry come with me to the precinct after work. He has got to live right there somewhere.

ITA. People are disgusting. Sorry you had to deal with it.

They just did a poll on the Relationship Board of LIF on how many people have been sexually assaulted and the results were staggering. And even the ones who said they were never assaulted have all seemed to have to deal with something like this. Disgusting, I just don't get it.
