you're not stupid at all .... hindsight is always 20/20 .... you were in shock at what was happening and thinking only about protecting yourself in case this f****** came any closer!

You're not stupid for not realizing you could take a picture. It's not every day that some creep decides to whack off in front of you, and it was probably really shocking and violating to be witness to that. Your mind was on your safety, which is much much MUCH more important. I'm glad you're okay!

So sorry that happened to you! It happened to me once in Florence. So disgusting.

Of course hindsight is 2020- I would never be thinking about taking a pic during that moment. But there was a girl about a year ago or so who took a pic of a guy who was exposing himself to her on the 7 train, face and all. It was in NY post the next day!

A somewhat similar thing happened to DH & I on 6 - some guy exposed himself to a woman who started yelling 'you're an animal! put it away! you're disgusting!' and then 'call the cops' when we pulled into the station. The guy got totally caught when we got there.

I would def report it and who knows - he could be down for an encore performance and you can have your camera ready!

people are SICK! I am so sorry you had to/have to deal with that!

DEF REPORT HIM...he may be a repeat offender and maybe it'll help catch him.

one of my best friends was running on the west side hwy running path during the day and a guy threw a bike at her....yeah....and then dropped his pants. she was alone and just RAN. she reported him and ended up being one of MANY girls to do so....it turns out this guy was doing it a lot. not sure if he got caught or not....

Ok - I am leaving work at 2 and am going to meet Jerry. We are going to the precinct to report it. I havent been able to get any work done today because of this. I literally feel sick thinking about it

OMG Celia sorry this happened to you....

I know how you feel.....back when I was like 11 years old I went walking at the Hempstead Lake State Park with my mom and her friend. I was lagging behind so they both continued on....Then all of a sudden I kept hearing some guy say PSST PSST behind the trees. I couldn't see coz I had taken off my glasses in order to jog (they were fogging up). But it looked like it was a guy wearing white shorts. But once I squinted, I could see he was shoing off his winky!!!

(He was white as snow!!)

So I just kept walking faster and faster until I caught up with my mom. I told her what happened and she walked back to where I heard the guy and again he began to say PSST PSST....when my mom saw him she was like W*T*F are you doing? What do you think that is impressive? Let me see how much you would like to show your thingy off after I get through with you and at that moment, my mom grabs this huge long piece of wood and starts to head the guys way to hit him over the head.....he starts apologizing and pulled his shorts up and ran like a lunatic.

My mom is my hero!!

UPDATE-

So Jerry and I just got back from the police station. They pretty much told me that they couldnt do anything. He didnt even want to write it down at first. He kinda got nasty with me when he asked why I didnt call 911. I told him I didnt know what to do- I was shocked that this was happening. He finally wrote down the area it happened in and the discription of the guy and they said they will send a car around tomorrow to see if there are any strange looking people around.
My fault for not calling right away!

Unfortunately I'm not surprised at his response or lack there of. And I don't think calling right away would've helped.

I went to an all girl's highschool in Jamaica and we had men do this CONSTANTLY. It was a daily thing. The cops would come they'd get arrested and be back the next week. Nothing ever changed- that guy is probably still there whacking off!

when i was a senior in hs my friends and i were driving and a man was looking into our car driving along side next to us and he started pleasuring himself. we called the police but they never got him
