I have a grammer question

I am typing a letter for my boss.
He wants part of it to read

'An investigation completed earlier this month found these signals operating properly with exclusive Pedestrian Period (Barnes Dance) for the pedestrians crossings, where pedestrians cross free from conflict.'

Do you think that the word pedestrian is in that sentence too many times? I think so. He doesnt. i really dont want to send it out like this with my initials on it because it will come back to me

Re: I have a grammer question

You can get away with it, but maybe try doing '...where they can cross free from conflict.'

Thats what I think too! My PIA boss doesnt want it. I think I am going to change it and just send it out like that. The Boro Commisioner is signing it so maybe I can get it past my boss with out him seeing the change.

Re: I have a grammer question

i agree that there are too many pedestrians

also, in the sentence: 'for the pedestrians crossings', i think you need an apostrophe after the 's' ... it should be: 'for the pedestrians' crossings'
