I know this has already been an issue but...

I am in wedding planning withdrawal!!! LOL!!! I have been planning since May of 99 and I got married on March 31, 2001. I know that I have to get over it and being married is great, but my real question is 'Has anyone thought of becoming a wedding planner??' I am very serious. I loved planning my wedding and would love to do it for others! AM I THE ONLY ONE,or is this post bride syndrome????LOL Jenn!

I got some teasing that I should consider the line of business but I don`t think I`d touch it with a 10-foot pole! I`ve had my own business in the past, and I know how hard it is to solicit new business, especially if you`re a small operation - you have to wear too many hats at a time. Not to mention keeping tax records, business records, etc. and dealing with stressed brides and MIL`s and settling disputes. What I really enjoyed was the creativity of putting together the table settings, favors, menus, flowers, etc. I can`t wait to get back to my other creative endeavors and I hope to be able to put some of the same kind of effort into entertaining family and gift giving in the future. But I know what you mean - I still see things in stores and think how it would have fit into the wedding theme, or have made a nice favor!
