I'm hoping this is a normal feeling...

A bit wedding related...

After the wedding ended, I just wanted to clean everything out of the house that had to do w/ the wedding (DIY supplies, etc.)...I got over the whole wedding planning process SOOO quickly. And now, I barely have any interest to talk about wedding related things - I just want to see our video + pro-pics and I'll be really happy (hopefully in a few weeks!). Anyone else feel like this or felt like this?!

We had the best time at our wedding, so it's nothing to do with that, I just lost all wedding talk interest once ours finished.

Anyhow, random thought of the day.

thats generally how I feel. I just want my wedding to be over- between thank you drama and my album, I feel like it will never be over.

I'm happy to help my friends with their wedding planning, but I'm generally eh about wedding talk now haha.

I know exactly the way you feel. After the wedding I wanted to do nothing with weddings. I think its perfectly normal to feel like this.

Exactly it... I wanted nothing more to do with the wedding once it was over.... I got my pics with in 4 days - and exactly a week after the wedding, my marriage certificate came....To me that was the big, flashing DONE sign with wedding stuff.

(well, of course I had to do Thank you's, but that was done with in the month).

DH's nephew is getting married next year, and I'm excited for them and can't wait to attend a wedding I didn't plan!

Me too.

I'm still stressing over what pictures to use for the albums and still picking songs and pics for the video. I can't want til it's all said and done and when I do miss our wedding - I can just pull out the album and be there again for a moment

I guess im a freak b/c I miss wedding planning LOL

I had no problem throwing things out - b/c that's what i do with everything but I miss all the planning stuff.

The night of the wedding I had a mini freak out b/c I didn't know what we were doing the next day b/c for the past almost 2 years, we always had wedding meetings/plans set up lol.

Same here! I just got married less than 3 weeks ago and immediately after the wedding I was so relieved it was over. I didn't know how I was going to feel and didn't know if I was going to be sad that it was over. However I was really surprised that I was so relieved for it to be over and on our honeymoon DH and I talked about it a little bit but I was surprised with how we both didn't talk about it much..haha. I think we were both done with all the planning and craziness! Lol.

lol yeah like 2 weeks after my wedding I asked Shauna & Laura if they wanted my leftover crap from the wedding... literally i just went to AMDA FB page and it was August 1st that i asked if they wanted it...

ETA: its not that i have no interest in wedding talk... i just dont need my wedding stuff anymore... and im glad my wedding is over
