I took the plunge!!!

.. and put my wedding dress up for sale.

I've been talking about it for a while.. but was kind of dragging it out. It's so hard parting with it.. but now that we're moving and won't have the space for it.. I figured it was time.

I hope whoever buys it treats it well..

Re: I took the plunge!!!

I figured instead of keeping the dress for my daughter to one day wear or make something out of it.. I'm just going to use the money to buy her something that she can cherish :)

DH told me to sell mine too...it is just sitting in a closet. Where did you put it up for sale?

eta: I looooove my dress but I dunno if it's really worth keeping. I doubt my daughter (if I ever even have one) will wear it

Exactly my situation.. And now since we're having a , i figured the money I can get from my dress would be WAY more helpful for her then the actual dress. :)

I put it up on www.recycledbride.com

I think it's the only free site where you can sell your dress.

Re: I took the plunge!!!

great idea! I want to sell mine too. Ive been too lazy so far its in FIL closet. (limited space)
I know women who saved their dresses in the attic only to have th material fall apart after 30 yrs. So why waste a perfectly good dress when someone can make good use of it now before it goes out of style???
